Race „Around the Bayer Cross“

Race around the Bayer CrossThe TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen athletics department has been hosted the race “Around the Bayer Cross” since 1978, which is meanwhile definitely established as one of the classic races in the area. It is popular with part-time and professional athletes, children and teenagers alike and often attracts more than 2,500 athletes. The race is held over various distances and therefore it has something to offer for everyone. Children can participate in a 1km race, there are relays right up to the main event over 10km.
 
Various national and international greats along with various TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen athletes such as Karl Fleschen, multiple German Champion and Olympic participant, Melanie Kraus, European Cup winner with the German marathon team in 2002, or Mario Kröckert (2002 European Championship participant over 10,000m) have already won the race.
