SV Bayer Wuppertal Volleyball 

The SV Bayer Wuppertal men’s volleyball team was one of the leading sides in Germany for many years. Between 1993 and 1997 the side won two German championships. Furthermore, the team finished second six times. In 1995 SV Bayer Wuppertal lifted the German Cup. The following season the team reached the final of the European Cup Winners’ Cup. The side also achieved some good results in the CEV-CUP. 
Due to the restructuring of Bayer’s involvement in sport in 2007, the sponsorship of the SV Bayer Wuppertal Bundesliga team ended at the end of the 2007/2008 season.
