For decades outstanding athletes have been adding to the reputation of Bayer athletics. Willi Holdorf, Heide Ecker-Rosendahl, Ulrike Meyfahrt, Heike Henkel, Steffi Nerius and Jürgen Hingsen are just a few big names which stand for world records, Olympic and world championship titles.

In the schoolboy, schoolgirls and youth section new talents are constantly groomed so that they meet national and international standards in Leverkusen, Dormagen and Uerdingen.
