RTHC Bayer Leverkusen Rowing

RTHC Bayer Leverkusen’s rowing department has enjoyed outstanding success over the years with Stephan Volkert obviously leading the way. During his career, Volkert won two Olympic gold medals and an Olympic bronze medal along with six world championship gold medal. The department put a lot of effort into the development of young athletes in order to give them the best possible chance in their career.

Bayer rowers Hauffe and Seifert in “Gemany eight”

After competing in the coxless fours at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, RTHC’s outstanding rowers Toni Seifert and Gregor Hauffe along with coach Ralf Müller made the switch to the German Rowing Association’s leading boat, the “Germany eight”, in 2009. The two RTHC athletes crowned their performances so far by winning the world championship gold medal in Poznan.
