Bayer Wuppertal/Uerdingen/Dormagen combined swimming team

The combined club Bayer Wuppertal/Uerdingen/Dormagen consists of the SV Bayer Wuppertal, SV Bayer Uerdingen 08 and TSV Bayer Dormagen swimming departments along with the „Independent“ Swimmers Wuppertal.

SG Bayer - which is coordinated by the former world-class swimmer Simone Osygus of SV Bayer Wuppertal - features top German swimmers World-Championship and Olympics participants Steffen Driesen and Sarah Poewe as well as European relay champion Daniela Samulski.

Bayer's swimming teams largely follow a uniform youth-development concept. Wuppertal and Dormagen already operate part-time swimming schools. In order to optimise the training of talented swimmers the resources such as coaches, encouraging young talent, equipment, training camps and budgets are used efficiently.
